Terms and conditions

This text is not final yet

This is a base version. The company name, Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number are still missing, and the text has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Fill in the details and have the terms checked before the shop goes live.

This is a translation of the Dutch text. In case of any difference, the Dutch version applies.

Article 1. Who we are

Stryker Trading Cards, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number [KvK], VAT number [BTW]. Reachable at info@strykertradingcards.com. Referred to below as "we" or "the seller". You, the buyer, are addressed as "you".

Article 2. What these terms apply to

These terms apply to every offer in this webshop and to every contract that follows from it. Before you complete an order, these terms are offered to you so that you can save them.

Article 3. The offer

Every offer contains a description of the product complete enough to judge what you are buying. For single cards that always includes the set code, the card number, the rarity and the condition.

For graded cards the grading company's assessment as printed on the label applies. We do not re-assess it and we do not open the holder.

An offer applies while stock lasts. Obvious mistakes and typing errors do not bind us.

Article 4. The contract

The contract comes into being at the moment you complete the order and we confirm receipt by email. As long as that confirmation has not been sent, you may dissolve the contract.

Article 5. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days to change your mind, counted from the day you receive the order. Within that period you may dissolve the contract without giving a reason. Report it by email. After that you have a further 14 days to send the products back.

During that period you handle the product with care. You may unpack it and inspect it the way you would in a shop. Loss of value beyond that we may charge on. For cards that means, concretely:

  • Return single cards in the sleeve and toploader you received them in.
  • A graded slab must come back unopened and undamaged. An opened slab has lost its grade and is no longer the same product.
  • Sealed products that have been opened cannot be returned, because their contents are then known.

The cost of sending it back is yours, unless we made a mistake. Once received and checked, we refund within 14 days using the same payment method.

Article 6. Prices

All prices are in euros and include 21% Dutch VAT. Shipping costs are listed separately and shown in the checkout before you pay. Prices of single cards follow the market and may change; the price at the moment of ordering is the price that applies.

Article 7. Payment

Payment runs through the payment methods offered in the checkout. The order is processed as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Article 8. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the Netherlands and Belgium. Singles and supplies go as a letterbox parcel, sealed products and slabs as an insured parcel. Shipping is free from € 50.00 in the Netherlands and from € 75.00 in Belgium.

Stated delivery times are an indication. If delivery unexpectedly fails within 30 days, you may dissolve the contract at no cost and get your money back. The risk of damage or loss lies with us until the moment you receive the order.

Article 9. Conformity

We warrant that a product matches the description on the product page. If a card's condition differs from what was stated, report it with a photo. We then settle it with a price adjustment, a replacement copy or a refund.

Wear that fits within the stated condition is not a defect. A card sold as "Good" may show visible whitening.

Article 10. Complaints

Report a complaint within reasonable time at info@strykertradingcards.com, with a description and photos. You will get a substantive answer within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can put your complaint to the European ODR platform.

Article 11. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Mandatory consumer law provisions of the country where you live continue to apply in full.
